## Changes by Carlow Dental Implant, September 2026

Selected and registered 28 teeth, the original upper and lower gingiva, full
mandible, both maxillae and palatine bones. Preserved the source lower alveolar,
incisive and mental nerve branches. Subdivided the source surfaces, recalculated
normals, applied educational materials and exported to glTF. Removed the former
cropped jaw meshes, bone-offset gingiva and continuous arch-shaped nerve tubes.

The canal shells are **illustrative envelopes** following the atlas nerve paths,
not separately segmented bony canals. The upper superior alveolar branches are
anatomy-guided illustrations connected to the atlas infraorbital course. The
infraorbital canal and mandibular canal are distinct structures, not identical
horseshoe loops. Third molars are not shown.

The [model manifest](./anatomy-manifest.json) records source objects, source hash,
coordinate registration and limitations. This is an educational atlas, not an
individual patient's anatomy or a clinically validated surgical planning model.
Patient-specific canal position, bone dimensions and implant suitability require
clinical assessment and appropriate imaging.
